STAFFORD TOWN'S REMI MONGEAUD WRITES ABOUT THE TEAM'S 1-3 LOSS TO RACING CLUB WARWICK...

Stafford Town's Frenchman Remi Mongeaud writes about yesterday's defeat against Racing Club Warwick:

"It’s a bad result for us, especially playing at home. We started the game well, we had two very good opportunities to score but we missed them.

Then Warwick took the lead with two goals and it became difficult for us. We came back to 2-1 down before the break and this gave us good hope for the second-half.

The game was over after they scored a third goal early in second-half though. Then they controlled the game and could have scored even more goals. They deserved the win.

About us, I think we are not far off doing well. The quality is here, we work hard at training but we need to convert more opportunities into goals during the games.

We were all disappointed after the game but we go again next Saturday..."
