“A frustrating day at the office.
We started the game brightly, the lads worked hard and hassled Rugby and we got our goal through Tommy.
It upset me that after that we switched off from about 5 minutes after our goal, right up until half-time, about 20-25 minutes in all.
The basics were not done right, we played ourselves into trouble and gave away 3 very poor goals.
After a bit of a roasting at half-time, the lads lifted themselves up and started playing more direct football, putting it on them.
We got a goal back through Nugey after about an hour and you could see the momentum shift. Credit to their goalkeeper though who made some fantastic saves and ultimately stopped us from getting at least a point.
Overall, we controlled decent spells of the game but we disappointed with a poor 20 mins before half-time, which effectively cost us the game.”
