Boats up and baulks down:
Mousehole’s industry in mid-November;
Vessels hauled from gale-blown harbour
Onto the quay and beached through December…
Scaffolding up and bulbs inserted:
Mousehole’s lights take shape in November;
Images of Yuletide lashed to frames
For a display its visitors will remember…

Seeing that local boats had been removed from the harbour and that the baulks had been inserted to block Mousehole’s entrance…
