BLACKSTONES FC v SAFFRON DYNAMO, 16th OCTOBER 2019: MATCH PREVIEW...

This will be my first visit to Blackstones FC and their opponents, Saffron Dynamo, will certainly make a game of it. I saw them lose at Long Buckby earlier in the season and the images below are from that encounter.

Blackstones lie second in the division at present, with a good chance of replacing Long Buckby at the top, should they beat Dynamo by two clear goals. The Stones have won 8 of their 9 league games this term, losing just once, having secured a goal difference of +25.

The last three matches were a 4-2 home victory over Irchester United, a 1-6 win at Lutterworth Athletic and a 0-4 success on the road at Whittlesey Athletic last Saturday, where Lee Clarke, Martyn Fox and Joshua Moore-Papworth notched three of the goals, the other being an own-goal by a home player.
