Sioux Chief At Gorran Haven…
The jaw is broken. Just fractured rock.
The fossil head of a Sioux tribal Chief.
He wears such a harried expression
In skeletal eyes which frown at his demise.
He stares at the sea, perhaps to take stock,
Wearing a woeful veil of grief.
The historic betrayal and oppression
Lingers on for the proud and the wise…
The ceremonial headdress of birds’ feathers
Remains intact, reflecting its majesty.
Worn green by time and inclement weathers,
The sculpted head retains its serenity…

An odd shaped section of fractured rock at Gorran Haven on the left of the image.
Looks like a gaping skull minus a jaw, with full American Native Indian headdress…
I guess it’s just my imagination…
