STEPH CURRY OF THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS: A NEW POEM...

Seemingly Impassive:
Steph Curry of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors…

A slight shake of the head,
Barely a glimpse of a frown
When a turnover is conceded,
Or a long three won’t go down…

A countenance of confidence
Exudes out on court,
Eyes knowing and predatory,
The focus creative and taut…

The slick assists, the inventive feeds,
The accuracy from downtown;
The inimitable towel draped over his head,
The Point Guard revels in his renown…

Yet his expertise from the free-throw line
And the seemingly sanguine facade
Surely stems from the loose-mouth chewing
Of his hanging and distinctive mouthguard…

Watching the Warriors’ valuable Point Guard Steph Curry, whose three-point shooting and general play are clearly splendid to behold.

When he shoots from the free-throw line however, that mouthguard chew is unique…
