"Binley got the game underway, in what ended up being a very poor 45 minutes of football for us.

Polonia took the lead in the 21st minute when we failed to clear the ball, then added two more goals before half-time, in the 29th and 31st minutes."

"Polonia started the 2nd half and almost increased their lead in the 58th minute when they hit a post.

We were fortunate in the 60th minute when a poor pass was intercepted by Tyler Morgan, who made no mistake with a low shot: 1-3.

In the 74th minute we reduced the deficit further when substitutes Luis Gomez and Bennie Adeeko linked up for the goal of the game when Bennie Adeeko chipped the goalkeeper: 2-3.

In the 82nd minute we almost drew level when a Luis Gomez shot struck a post."

"This was not the performance that I was expecting from our first game of the new season. 

Polonia deserved their win and were better in every area of the pitch than us, which was very disappointing for me.

The game was all but over for us after a poor first-half display; after 30 minutes being 3-0 down, it was just too much for us.

We finished the game strongly in the second-half and almost snatched a point but it was too little too late. 

With no scheduled game next week,it will be 2 weeks before we can put things right.
