POTTON UNITED v BUGBROOKE ST. MICHAELS: THE MOWDOG'S MATCH PREVIEW...

POTTON UNITED v BUGBROOKE ST. MICHAELS:

THE MOWDOG’S PREVIEW…

This will be my first visit to Potton United, although I did visit Bugbrooke in 2014, when they were beaten 1-4 in a pre-season friendly by Bedford Town.

THE HUTCHINSON HOLLOW...

This match sees 15th placed Potton pitted against 14th placed Bugbrooke in the United Counties Premier League South division, although in fairness, Potton have played 3 games fewer than their guests, who have even had 3 points deducted from their total.

Potton have won 6, drawn 4 and lost 7 of their 17 matches with a goal-difference of -5 and a points total of 22.

ROYALS' MANAGER JIMMY MARTIN...

The Badgers also have a goal-difference of -5 and have also amassed 22 points but from 20 matches played. They have won 8, lost 11 but only drawn 1 of their games.

BADGERS' MANAGER JAMIE FORREST...

The recent form…

POTTON:

THE ROYALS...

Potton’s last three matches included a 4-0 home win v Rothwell Corinthians, the goals coming from Isaac Charles, Sam Dowridge, Aaron McCardle and a deflected Jack Thomas effort. Corinthians had Dom Allen-Ledgeway dismissed during the encounter.

SAM DOWRIDGE...

Two draws on the road followed, first 1-1 at Easington Sports, where Luke Pyman’s goal was nullified in the 93rd minute by Sports’ Lucas Northover. On Tuesday last, another 1-1 draw was achieved by The Royals at Cogenhoe United, where an own goal clinched the point. The Cooks’ Patryk Cichosz was dismissed by earning a second yellow card in the 95th minute.

LUKE PYMAN...

BUGBROOKE:

THE BADGERS...

ER, WE LIKES THIS...

A 7-2 home win v Biggleswade United, who had Kye Andrews sent off after only 18 minutes, included goals for the Badgers by Greg Ling 2, a brace by Ed Panter, plus strikes by Curtis Avery, Joel Gyasi and Dan Field.

JOEL GYASI...

A 2-0 win v Eynesbury Rovers followed, with two goals in the opening 15 minutes by Avery and Dan Porter doing the damage. However in their third successive home match last Tuesday, Rugby Town inflicted a 1-3 defeat upon The Badgers and a guy I have seen score a number of times in the past, David Kolodynski nabbed two of the goals for the guests. Porter again scored for Bugbrooke…

ED PANTER...
