"We got the game underway and forced our first corner in the 7th minute, before Paul Govier went on a run and found Steven Young with his cross, who then passed to Tyler Morgan. Morgan's shot forced a save from the Ambleside goalkeeper.
In the 10th minute Ambleside's number 5 forced Ryan Oldham into a good save.
On 20 minutes an Andy Godfrey corner found Tatenda Bako, who shot over the target.
In the 32nd minute Ambleside's 10 had a header and this forced another good save from Ryan Oldham.
Then, in the 34th minute we thought that we had taken the lead but Paul Govier was adjudged to have been offside.
On 37 minutes Ambleside's number 4 was through on goal but his shot went just over the crossbar."

"Ambleside got the 2nd half underway but we soon took the lead in the 52nd minute when a Danny Vincent cross was headed home by Paul Govier: 0-1.
In the 55th minute we doubled our lead when Tyler Morgan crossed and Paul Govier controlled the ball on his chest before volleyeying home: 0-2.
In the 58th minute Ambleside had a corner which was headed off the goal-line by Seb Kassar.
On 59 minutes Paul Govier turned provider but Tatenda Bako shot wide.
In the 60th minute Brendan Hackett took a free-kick which found its way to Andy Godfrey who managed somehow to hit the crossbar from close range.
After 64 minutes Danny Vincent was replaced by Mtshuza Ncube
In the 70th minute Ambleside had a very good opportunity to score but their number 10's lob went just over.
In the 74th minute Paul Govier completed his hat-trick with a low shot: 0-3.
On 75 minutes Paul Govier was replaced by Sean Ryder
and in the 76th minute Ryder found himself through on goal but he shot wide.
In the 78th minute Ambleside's 10 headed over the bar from a free-kick.
On 82 minutes Ambleside's 4 fired just wide of the target.
In the 83rd minute Tyler Morgan put an excellent opportunity wide, with the goalkeeper already beaten."

In Summing Up This Game:
"In a very even 1st half with very few opportunities, an early goal in the 2nd half brought this game to life.
Both teams had chances but we just had the edge today in the final third.
The lads defended very well and it's right that the defence gets some credit for an excellent result against a difficult Ambleside team.
Hopefully we can now kick on and go on a little run to keep our season on track."
