FECKENHAM FC v BOLEHALL SWIFTS: A PREVIEW...

Feckenham FC v Bolehall Swifts:
A Preview…

This Midland League 2 encounter pits two teams with very different  2019-20 records against each other at Eldorado Close in Studley.

The hosts have actually only played nine league games, winning seven, drawing one and losing just once. They currently lie 5th in the division, although if they win all six of their matches in hand over league leaders Solihull United (record: 13-1-1), they would have the same number of points. Feckenham’s current goal difference is +15, having only conceded nine times…

They beat Solihull on the road recently in the Les James Cup, 1-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw and even won 2-4 on spot-kicks at Premier Division Highgate United, after a 1-1 draw in the Smedley Crooke competition.

Incredibly, their last league game was played on October 19th, winning 3-0 v Coton Green and before that they enjoyed a 0-3 victory at Bolehall, their opponents this weekend.
JAK ALBUTT, HAVING SCORED FOR REDDITCH BOROUGH...

Leading goalscorers Daniel Murphy and Jak Albutt both have 7 to their names and will be looking to punish the Swifts on Saturday.

Bolehall have won once, drawn once and lost ten times this term, managing only four points, conceding an average of 3.67 goals per match. The goal difference is a tough -36, so improvements are necessary…

They lie 15th of 16 teams in the division with only Redditch Borough below them, who have three games in hand over the Swifts. Earlswood Town are above them, though they have six games in hand over Bolehall, although in truth Lane Head are in some real trouble too, having only amassed seven points from 15 games…
ELLIOTT HEATON: TWO GOALS IN A TOUGH SEASON...

Elliott Heaton and Josh Houghton have netted twice each for Swifts thus far…

Recently, Bolehall lost 5-0 at Coventry Alvis and 4-0 at Coton Green…

There will be video highlights, a full match report and images from the game HERE throughout Sunday, as well as comments from one or two characters involved in the action…
