There are only 9 teams in the Macron Store Stoke Division 1 North league and Glappy have played two matches in the competition thus far this term, winning both.
A 1-2 victory at 780 JLC, where Solly Limb and Joel Searson netted the goals, was followed by a 2-1 home success v Harworth Colliery Reserves, with Charles Bradwell’s late strike adding to Cory Burton’s goal.

So, 4th in the standings, 2 wins from 2, a goal difference of +2 and a points haul of 6, whilst Sheffield Reserves lie second in the division, having won all 4 of their games. Leaders Bessacarr have 12 points from 5 matches.

Another tie, this time in the Mansfield Lodge Hotel Division One Cup saw The ‘Well travel to defeat Shirebrook Soldiers by 0-5, where Charles Bradwell scored a brace, whilst Cory Burton, Curtis McLeish and Callum Barker added the other goals.

Time will tell whether the 2020-21 season finds a way to a finish but with so few teams in the division, there surely has to be a chance!
