The Corpses chanted
At the Living,
Tempted and tainted
By their worldly pleasures,
“…we once were…”
“As you are…”
The Cadavers insisted
To the Living,
Engrossed and engaged
By their worldly treasures,
“…so you shall ever be...”

The Dead spoke the words in my poem as a warning, I guess, against worldly pleasures...
