HELLAS VERONA FC, PROMOTED TO SERIE A...

Hellas Verona FC

A bus ride from the Piazza Brà
Took me to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi,
Where The Mastiffs,
The Scaligers,
The Yellow-Blues,
The Boys, or Hellas Verona play their soccer games…

A recent promotion to Serie A
Had captured my interest and I entered the stadium,
Where i Mastini,
gli Scaligeri,
i Gialloblu,
i butei, or Hellas Verona thrive on their nicknames…

A short bus ride from the Piazza Brà
Took me to the Stadio from a 1st century amphitheatre,
Where the Retiarius,
The Secutor,
The Eques,
The Rudiarius, or experienced Gladiator, once won their fame…
