It seems a awful long time since we played football and I for one have missed football and being around my lads.
We are all going through some very difficult times in which rules are being put in place for our safety and everyone else around us.
We at AFC Binley were so happy to be given the go-ahead to play the game we love and start our pre-season games with a tough double-header against Folly Lane's 3rd Team, which we won 0-2 and then Folly Lane Reserves (a 2-2 draw).
For me, pre-season games are all about the players getting minutes on the pitch and hopefully we are able to integrate a few new faces into the squad.
