SOLIHULL UNITED v FECKENHAM: THE MOWDOG'S MATCH PREVIEW...

THE VENUE FOR SATURDAY'S GAME...

This clash will be my first chance to see Solihull United play and with both teams utilising artificial pitches for their home matches, United at Boldmere St Michaels' stadium and the Millers at Redditch United's Trico Stadium,  some good quality football really ought to be on the cards.

Solihull have enjoyed a fine start to the season, winning 7 of 8 matches and drawing the other, scoring 28 goals (an average of 3.5 goals per game) and conceding just 6. Their goal difference is therefore exactly the same as the number of points they have secured: 22...

LEADING SCORER KYLE HUDLIN...

MIRACLE OKAFOR: SCORED IN HIS LAST THREE MATCHES...

Recent form has been really decent, with 3 wins from 3, starting with a fine 0-4 victory at Knowle, where Kyle Hudlin nabbed a brace, whilst skipper Sam Delaney and Miracle Okafor added the other two goals. Next was a 5-1 win v Earlswood Town, the goals coming from five different players: Dylan Barkers, Cameron Ebbutt, Okafor, Josh Parsons and Elie Ikwa. The most recent result was a hard fought 1-2 success at Boldmere Falcons, courtesy of strikes by Hudlin and Okafor.

EFE UNUARHEMHEN: EVER PRESENT THIS SEASON...

Leading the scoring chart is Hudlin with 8 but three players have notched 3: Delaney, Okafor and John Baker.

Feckenham have experienced a strange beginning to the term, having two matches postponed, those against Fairfield Villa and Redditch Borough. Thus they have played just 5 league games and their record is 3 wins, a draw and a loss. Their goals-ratio is 14-12 and they have amassed 10 points, meaning that with 3 games in hand over Solihull, winning them would mean being just 3 points behind the league leaders.

CONNOR PERRY-HOLMES (WITH GLOVES) & JAK ALBUTT...

A 2-1 loss at Northfield Town, where Connor Perry-Holmes netted the consolation goal, was followed by the first of two 4-3 victories, firstly at Lane Head, where Perry-Holmes scored all four goals for Feckenham. A 4-3 home win v fancied FC Stratford was the Millers' last outing and the goals were scored by Perry-Holmes, Jake Donnelly, Daniel Murphy and George Tolley.

DANIEL MURPHY: SCORED AGAINST FC STRATFORD...

Needless to say, Perry-Holmes leads the goalscoring chart with 6, followed by Jake Donnelly with 3.

MILLERS' SKIPPER JORDAN ADAMS...

Full coverage of the match with video highlights (plus commentary), screenshots, images and a full report will be available at themowdog.blogspot.co.uk from Sunday...

The Solihull manager Sam Manoochehri will be welcoming his brother Oli on Saturday, who is currently on Feckenham's books, so there's a family element to the encounter too...

THE INNOCENT OLI MANOOCHEHRI HAS HIS OWN LAWYER: QUENTIN TOWNSEND, NOW STOURPORT'S SUCCESSFUL BOSS...
