AFC BINLEY'S MANAGER EDWIN GREAVES WRITES ABOUT HIS TEAM'S 8-2 WIN v FISSC ON SATURDAY...

 Game 6:

"FISSC got the game underway and and knocked the ball around with confidence, however in the 2nd minute their goalkeeper's misplaced pass was intercepted by Brian Ndlovu who scored from close range: 1-0.

Our next opportunity came when a Will Waddell corner was headed wide by Liam Roach.

In the 24th minute Ryan Makwenje took the next corner and that was headed wide by Jon Govier.

More chances came and went when a Ryan Makwenje free-kick was parried by the FISSC goalkeeper but no-one reacted quickly enough. Tyler Morgan then shot wide from another goalkeeping mistake.

Just after the half-hour, FISSC had their first opportunity of the game but their number 2 shot wide. Karl Bell headed against the crossbar from another Will Waddell corner, before we increased our lead in the 37th minute when Ryan Makwenje and Jon Govier linked up before Karl Bell crossed and Steven Young headed home: 2-0.

5 minutes from the break, Steven Young chased a ball into a corner and passed to Tyler Morgan, who back-heeled the ball for Brian Ndlovu to score: 3-0."

Half-time AFC Binley 3-0 FISSC...

"We got the 2nd half underway and nearly increased our lead when Will Waddell was denied by the FISSC goalkeeper, however we weren't to be denied for long as in the 49th minute Will Waddell set Tyler Morgan free, who crossed for Brian Ndlovu to score and complete his hat-trick: 4-0.

On the hour, Brian Ndlovu returned the favour by crossing to Tyler to score: 5-0... Tyler Morgan was then replaced by Bennie Adeeko.

A long shot from the FISSC number 9 beat Ryan Oldham from approximately 25 yards, for a fine goal: 5-1, then the 65th minute Ryan Makwenje picked up the ball and ran at the FISSC defence before slotting the ball past the FISSC goalkeeper: 6-1.

Steven Young and Will Waddell were replaced by Mtshumayeli Ncube and Melusi Mazwi, then in the 67th minute, the FISSC number 9 shot over the target, before Ryan Makwenje scored again: 7-1.

Ryan Makwenje completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute after a pass from Karl Bell: 8-1, then in the 78th minute, the FISSC number 12 scored to reduce the deficit: 8-2. Late in the match, the FISSC number 18 shot wide."

Full-time: AFC Binley 8-2 FISSC...

In Summing Up This Game:

"After getting an early goal we deserved our victory today and managed to take a large percentage of our chances over the 90 minutes. FISSC played some neat and tidy football but only caused us problems later on in the game.

It was nice to get back to winning again after dropping 2 points last weekend.

Best of luck to everyone at FISSC for the remainder of the season.

The Miners Arms M.o.M. is Brian Ndlovu..."
