WORCESTER RAIDERS v DUDLEY SPORTS: THE PREVIEW...

Worcester Raiders v Dudley Sports:

Friday 28th February 2020: The Preview...

This contest has been moved to Malvern Town's artificial pitch to ease the fixture congestion caused by the terrible recent weather. I was there last Saturday, oddly, to see Hereford Lads Club's 1-2 victory over the Hillsiders.

The Raiders have a record of 9 wins, 3 draws and 8 defeats from their 20 matches, they lie 11th in the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division and have amassed a points total of 30, with a goals ratio of 49-44. The goal difference is thus just +5...

The recent form has been rather good in fact, a 2-2 draw at Pershore Town being followed by a 5-3 home win against Cradley Town. There was a League Cup victory of 0-3 at Wolverhampton Casuals and the last game was a 3-1 home success v Darlaston Town (1874), in which Kyle Belmonte, Zaqib Hussain and Kirk Layton nabbed the goals...

KYLE BELMONTE FIRES A FREE-KICK AT BEWDLEY...

Dudley Sports have suffered a tough season so far and they prop up the league table with just 8 points. They have 2 wins, 2 draws and 16 defeats from their 20 matches, their goal difference is -50 and only 15 league goals have been scored.
DUDLEY SPORTS FC: NEED DESPERATELY TO MOVE UP THE LEAGUE TABLE...

Four recent league matches brought four defeats, beginning with a couple on the road, first at Wolverhampton Casuals (6-0), then at Black Country Rangers (2-1). The home game v Shawbury was lost 1-2, before Bilston Town won at Sports by 0-5.
AGAINST SHIFNAL TOWN EARLIER IN THE SEASON...

Leading goalscorers overall are Stuart Hillman with 4, followed by Will Tibbetts and Jarad Daniels with 3 each...

Both of these teams have games in hand over other clubs in this division...

There will be full coverage of the match at themowdog.blogspot.co.uk from Saturday morning with a match report and video highlights with commentary...
