Porth Chapel (6th July 2020)
There was threat, a slight undulation,
Perhaps tens of metres offshore,
Then out of sinister grey-blue,
Heaving, rising and threatening,
It rushed its turquoise revelation,
Topped white with frothy gore
And out of this vibrant spew,
Baulking, hurling and chastening,
It flushed its tumultuous castigation…

The waves here lifted from the darker waters and rose powerfully to send bodyboarders into extremely fast but short rides, reminding me of drag races in the U.S.
Fine colours, fine sights…
