'CREEPING DOWN': A POEM ABOUT SOGNEFJORD, NORWAY...

 Creeping Down…

Like cream seeps

Sinewy routes down

Steamy seasonal pies,

So spills of loose water leak

Uneven trails down

Dull island stone.

Frozen fingers of snow-arrow

White crack down

Grey mountain rock

And firs’ protective

Green arms, adding

To barren slopes, a sober tone…

Simple waterfalls alongside the Sognefjord…
