'WOOLLY MAMMOTH': THE 4TH NORWAY POEM...

 Woolly Mammoth…

THE MAMMOTH 'APPEARS' IN THE RIGHT FOREGROUND...

It sprawled

In a land of giants,

Lively as a sloth

Near deep, dark water.

Evergreens formed its hair,

 Emanating such fear.

Enormity, gravity, history

And tourists to slaughter…

Winding fjord trunk

Enticed, enchanted,

And hypnotised mortals

To gape in awe.

Drifting on a matchbox boat,

All caution on the breeze,

Windswept, icy, hesitant,

One dreaded a terrific roar…

A fjord cruise and shapes triggered the imagination…
