'In Summing Up This Game':
WORDS BY AFC BINLEY MANAGER EDWIN GREAVES...
"After a 4 week break due to the 2nd lockdown it was really important today for us to get the 3 points against one of our promotion rivals.
The lads started well despite playing with the sun in their eyes and we missed a couple of good chances early on before taking the lead.
That early goal settled us down and we were able to increase the lead and had a healthy 3-0 lead at half-time.
The 2nd half was very different for us as RS caused us more problems and showed plenty of fighting spirit and got a goal back to make it 3-1. We scored soon afterwards though, before RS scored again.
It was nice to see the lads back playing football and i would have settled for this result before a ball had been kicked.
Over 90 minutes we deserved our victory but unfortunately we ended up losing the 2nd half!
A massive positive today is that we have taken points off one of our rivals and continue our good form since defeat in our opening game of the season.
We are keeping our feet firmly on the ground with plenty of games still to play but I have to say that I am very happy with the lads tonight.
I would like to wish everyone at RS Sports all the best for the remainder of the season and I hope everyone reading this stays safe."
