Against Newlyn’s old, grassy quay wall
It leaned like a child’s toy, soiled,
Split, cracked, abused, worn,
Abandoned to rot and decay but forlorn,
Despite the harsh seafaring years it had seriously toiled…
Some colour remained, including weathered red,
Fading beneath the vast hulk, beached;
Nameless, anonymous, scorned, disused,
Gunwales battered and mercilessly bruised,
Its seaworthiness currently seriously impeached…

The leaning ROS NA RIOGH, awaiting restoration at Newlyn, December 2017…
The Stevenson family ran the fishing vessel from Newlyn but it was built in 1953 in Ireland at Lillybegs.
Its name and last listing, PZ1024 are unreadable…
