'JUNE EVENING, MOUSEHOLE, CORNWALL...' (My new poem about Cornwall...)

 June Evening, Mousehole, Cornwall…

An artistic pastel calm had descended

Upon Mousehole’s evening silence,

Its textures seductive with each layered hue.

An image of coastal sunset peace which lured,

A seascape of haunting pallid colour…

A cloudy pale pink June sky blended

With a dull mauve’s mirky malevolence,

A tepid turquoise and a blur of deep blue,

Whilst a slim sailing vessel lay secured

In the stillness of low tide’s peachy pallor…

24th June 2023…

Mousehole on a late June evening and the scene looked like a painting, featuring a simple sailing boat in the foreground…

It looked so magical…
