MOUSEHOLE BLUSTERS... (My poem about Mousehole in October 2008...)

 Mousehole Blusters

(Changeable weather in Mousehole, October 2008...)

Slate clouds, hurled by blusters

Clogged a sky of brilliant blue,

Tossing their blots of gloom

And dousing the gleam of autumnal sunlight

Across Mousehole’s harsh granite harbour walls…

Hail, slung by blusters

Dulled a sky of magnificent hue,

Scourging it with its gloom

And cursing the stream of autumnal sunlight,

Whilst a rainbow enveloped the coastal squalls…

October 2008…

A rainbow coloured the undecided weather around Mousehole…
