THE BOAR PREDATES THE BOORISH... (My new poem about rock formations on Broad Haven beach...)

 The Boar Predates The Boorish…

(One rock formation attacks another…)

Odd that Trump should want his bust on display in Wales,

In Broad Haven to be exact. I want to drape a long, red tie

Around the world leader’s craggy neck of hewn stone.

The boorish American President has an obdurate, frowning expression,

One which the locals must feel is a watertight image to repel any imminent invasion…

Odd then that a boar should rage upon that beach in Wales,

Clearly apoplectic about the presence of a rival male boor, and with a cry

The mammal leaps from the dampened, hardened sand to atone,

Creating a supreme, predatory, frightening offensive impression

As the boar attacks the boor with contempt and an uncouth, spitting derision…

7th May2025…

I did think that there was indeed a subtle impression of the boorish Trump in a rock formation on Broad Haven beach but then I noticed the leaping wild boar formation too, seemingly heading out of the damp sand and straight for the interloper…

All good fun…
