KIRSTY ELSON’S 2018 CALENDAR:
MARCH…
Roofs seem tacked down to combat coastal gales,
A gull’s wings are pert and erect, alighting;
Two cottages perch too, on a sunlit quayside frail,
Its worn wooden stakes distressed and parching…
Shells of small craft seem beached quite jauntily,
One chained like a criminal in a Victorian jail;
A trademark ladder, crude and rickety
Disappears into a mesmeric shadowy veil…

A few words to accompany the March image on Kirsty Elson’s 2018 calendar…
Her models are quite exquisite…
