SPORTING KHALSA STRIKER JAK JEYS COMMENTS ON HIS TEAM'S LATE, LATE VICTORY OVER LYE TOWN...

"It was a local derby, so football went out of the window and the game became scrappy at times. There weren’t many chances created in the game but we fought until the very end.

Going 1-0 down we had to be disciplined and fight back. The substitutes then made a great impact and shortly afterwards we managed to get the equaliser.

It looked as though it was going to be a draw but what a way to win a local derby and in the 93rd minute!

It felt good to get the winner and all the lads dug in hard for the victory.

For me it’s 5 goals in 2 games, so consistency is crucial and we just need to keep on picking up 3 points from our matches.

Confidence is high all around the club and the lads and management are all working hard to get to where we need to be."
