"Binley got the game underway but Brinklow had to make an early change as their number 10 went off injured.
In the 6th minute we were awarded a free-kick which Andy Godfrey took but it was saved well by the Brinklow goalkeeper. Then on the quarter-hour Bennie Adeeko set up Blake Kassar, who was denied by the goalkeeper's legs.
On the half-hour Will Waddell passed to Tatenda Bako, whose cross just couldn't find Bennie Adeeko, before Jaydon Bickley went on a good run but again no one could get the final touch.
Just prior to the break, a Will Waddell free-kick was headed in by Liam Roach for 0-1 to Binley, then immediately Sebastian Kassar passed to Blake Kassar who headed the ball on to Bennie Adeeko. He was through on goal and made no mistake with his low shot: 0-2...
Brendan Hackett's error put the Brinklow number 9 through on goal but he shot wide."

In Summing Up This Game:
"After not playing any football for the last 3 weeks it was nice to get this game on.
In a close 1st half, 2 goals just before half-time swung the game in our favour then during the 2nd half we scored 4 goals in the last 20 minutes to win the match convincingly, although we were a bit fortunate with a couple of the goals.
We deserved our victory today but were made to work hard by a Brinklow side which never gave up.
This victory keeps our promotion hopes alive however,, but there is still plenty of work to be done.
All the best to everyone at Brinklow for the remainder of their season..."
Edwin Greaves,
AFC Binley Manager...
