BROMSGROVE SPORTING SKIPPER CRAIG JONES COMMENTS ON HIS TEAM'S LOSS TO ALVECHURCH...

CRAIG JONES WARMS UP AT THE JUBILEE STADIUM...

"Although we were the obvious underdogs, we still felt like we could win the game but we were punished for a first half performance that wasn't what was asked of us.

We gave away possession a little too cheaply at times and certainly far too many set piece opportunities which they took advantage of eventually. That being said, we had chances in the first and second-half that if we had taken would've put them under more pressure and could've turned the game in our favour.

I felt the 3rd goal was harsh on us but when you're chasing a game gaps are going to be left. But the better team won on the night and all the best to Alvechurch in their push for promotion.

We didn't disgrace ourselves but disappointingly we didn't quite put in a performance that we know we are capable of, which may have made for a different outcome.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be, but we have to put this behind us now and get back to winning ways in our next league game on Saturday over at Warwick."
