COVENTRY UNITED COACH HARRY BARNES COMMENTS ON THE 2-0 WIN v HEATH HAYES...

BOTH HARRY & PATRICK SUFFO REFUSE TO CARRY THE BAGS... EX_MANAGER EDWIN GREAVES GETS THE NOD...

"Just like to begin this report by announcing a new title that myself and Reserves Assistant Manager Glyn Hale came up with last night as a result of these reports and updating Twitter/Facebook: 'Media Whore'. There's no official job spec' so I guess that's up to me to sort...

Last night was weird because we knew that a win basically secured the league b
ut mathematically, it didn't.

At the final whistle it was a half celebration after a comfortable win against a very well organised Heath Hayes side.

It took an own goal from a corner of ours to go 1-0 up, followed by a top through ball from Josh O'Grady to Kai Williams who finished it so well to go 2-0 ahead.

The Heath Hayes 'keeper had a brilliant game (my personal man of the match) because with some great saves he kept Heath Hayes in with a chance of a comeback, until a stupid decision from the opposition number 10 to throw a head-butt.

The Heath Hayes captain was sent off shortly afterwards, via 2 yellows: one for throwing the ball at someone on the floor and the other for a "tactical foul" as we advanced forward.

Thursday night could and hopefully will be the night that we cap off a season which we could have only dreamed of and get promoted for the third year in a row..."
