COVENTRY UNITED COACH HARRY BARNES WRITES ABOUT THE 5-0 VICTORY AT STAFFORD TOWN...

HARRY BARNES WORKS HIS LEAF-SPEWING HAND-PUPPET DURING A BREAK IN THE COPSEWOOD GAME...

"Thank you to the fans who travelled a 100 mile round trip to Stafford in horrible weather conditions to last night's game: everybody in the club really appreciated it.

With players being tired from recent matches and the longest away trip of the season falling on a Thursday night, we knew that we had to take the game seriously.

A late withdrawal from the squad for Rich Morris saw Dave the Saves return in goal and keep another clean sheet. This freed up Mozza for some bang average banter on the bench.

2 goals from O'Grady, one from Ndlovu, one from Gift (somehow) and one from Blakey saw us reach 21 goals in 3 games, having also conceded none.

With a lack of dugout seats, I decided to spend my game sat next to Liam Cook doing his Hillz FM live radio commentary, acting as his pundit for the game. Another self-promotion for me and reckon I could make a career out of it if I'm honest. Big decisions for me now...

Overall, another solid win and only 2 points behind Bromsgrove with 2 games in hand. We're catching back up and fast.

Still plenty to do..."
