COVENTRY UNITED OFFICIAL HARRY BARNES REVIEWS THE 11-0 WIN AGAINST PELSALL VILLA...

TO IMPRESS EX-MANAGER EDWIN GREAVES, BRIAN MESSIAH NDLOVU & PHYSIO SARAH EVANS, HARRY HAS TAPED A BALL TO HIS SOCK...

"Yesterday's game was as important as the Nuneaton game, as all of our remaining games are, despite the big difference in league positions.

In Terry Anderson's absence, I'd promoted myself to Assistant Manager to Luke once we reached 10-0 and I was confident the game was won. Nobody has confirmed that this was my position for the day but also nobody has told me it wasn't - so if Roy Hodgson is reading and looking for a new assistant, I've got a pretty good record...

11-0 suggests a comfortable game and I'm not going to lie, it really was. Despite conceding 11, the Pelsall Villa goalkeeper pulled off some quality saves at times and shouldn't feel bad about his contribution to the game at all.

It wasn't the most entertaining of games and it did feel like a training match at times, but the lads were professional from start to finish and knew we had a job to do and goal difference to gain.

With respect to Pelsall, we really could have and definitely should have won the game with at least 20 goals, with some absolutely golden chances missed *cough* Josh Blake *cough*...

It's another game ticked off in a long run of games that started Thursday and closer to the goal of 100 points and finishing top of the league.

And somehow, we didn't even have the biggest win in our division!"

Harry Barnes, self-appointed Assistant Manager of Coventry United, who, in his spare time coughs at Josh Blake, creeps his way towards the England set-up and attempts to guess the ages of players, albeit unsuccessfully at times... (Cough, Gift Mussa, cough...)
