COVENTRY UNITED'S JAYDEN RICKHUSS WRITES ABOUT THE 3-0 WIN @ PELSALL VILLA...

JAYDEN 'I CANNOT PAUSE FOR BREATH' RICKHUSS @ LEFT-BACK, RIGHT BACK IN CONTENTION AT COVENTRY UNITED...

"It was only a couple of weeks ago that we played Pelsall and won 11-0. Football can be an unpredictable game and we knew because of the previous result this does not mean we should approach this game with a more laid back mentality.

We knew Pelsall had picked up good results at the start of the season so they should not be taken for granted. First-half we were dominant and although Pelsall defended well, we were unfortunate to only go into the break with a 0-1 lead.

After some strong words from the manager (in a foreign accent, known as Scouse...) and his assistant at half time, we continued into the second-half with more dominant possession and a handful more chances using the slope to our advantage.

They struggled to deal with our substitutions, bringing on fresh legs up top with Brian & Kai and we were very comfortable and in control at the back throughout the game.

Before we knew it we found ourselves 0-3 and I FINALLY got myself a goal with an assist from Coler (he'd appreciate a mention for his assist) and a rest day well deserved before another big game on Saturday.

On a more personal note it's great to be back at the club playing with such a great bunch of talented footballers and for such loyal supporters.

4 more games to go.

PUCU."
