FLACKWELL HEATH SKIPPER BEN STURGESS COMMENTS ON HIS TEAM'S 2-2 DRAW @ LONGLEVENS...

BEN STURGESS: SCORED AT LONGLEVENS...
"On reflection from yesterday's game, for me a draw was probably a fair result. Both sides had many chances within the 90 minutes and it's clear to see both teams went about trying to grab a winner.

We didn't start particularly well for the first 15 minutes but we found ourselves going 2-0 up and I feel we should have most definitely come away with 3 points yesterday.

It was a stroke of fortune for the first goal with the cross but Jamie Essex showed great composure to slot it home and after scoring myself which is always nice, to be 2-0 going in at half-time, for me we have dropped 2 points.

A sloppy goal just before half-time gave Longlevens a sniff and they are the sort of side that will always go to the death. A tough place to go and these long journeys have been are undoing.

We haven't been good enough recently and it's something as players we need to improve on. Little mistakes against good sides get punished. We will go again Monday and again find ourselves in a tough game..."
