Indecision…
There was indecision, a warning in the stillness,
A doubt concerning its intention;
There was vacillation, a tentative shyness,
An unease, an encroachment suspension…
There was a disinclination
For making a decision;
There was a stalling of temptation
To forage for provision…
There was an uncertain hovering,
It seemed sceptical, it had a qualm;
There was a critical wavering
From its suspicion of harm…
