Parakeets In Loose Formation…
Just like military jets in tight formation
Banking above the audience at an air-show,
Five parakeets squawking in loose formation,
Suddenly swooped behind the maturity
Of massive trees, their forked tails in tow.
Then one bird settled amongst branches, camouflaged
By one tall tree and screeched, seemingly outraged…

The parakeets near Warren House, Kingston upon Thames, were noisy, constantly flying about and flashing green against the cloudy sky above…
