BROMSGROVE SPORTING'S CRAIG JONES WRITES ABOUT THE 4-2 VICTORY OVER COVENTRY UNITED...

CRAIG JONES COMMENTS:

"Definitely the most memorable day in a Bromsgrove shirt from a personal point of view and a thoroughly deserved 3 points.

I think Coventry were a bit shell-shocked by how fast we started; after a cagey first 5 we were absolutely flying. The big difference for us was putting those early chances away, which gave us a foothold in the game and messed up their game plan to come and keep things tight. After that it was just about game management, staying switched on and trying to add to our lead.

At the end of it all, I thought 4-2 flattered them and it's disappointing to lose our clean sheet run, but we would've taken the result before the game!

The lads and management were first-class, only bettered by the amazing support shown by the fans. To get 924 through the gate is unbelievable and I genuinely believe they were a massive factor in our performance.

On behalf of the lads I'd like to thank each and every one of them for their support; hopefully we sent them home happy and it would be great to draw the majority of those fans back over the course of this season and beyond.

As good a performance and result that it was, we need to remain focused as there's a lot more work to be done, starting on Saturday at home to Stafford."
