“The Nuneaton game was disappointing from our perspective because we went into the game full of optimism from Thursday night’s semi-final win.
I don't think the conditions helped either side but Nuneaton adapted better to the wind and ultimately did what they needed to do in the final third. It was a shame really because Robbo told us what needed to be done to win, which was to work harder and to be more professional and I think we let the manager down on the day as a collective.
We are 9th I think, but there are 4 or 5 players any top team would take and there are good people involved with this football club like the manager, the coaches and chairman who do a lot, wanting to see this club do well.
We will look to push on I think now, get Saturday out of our heads with an important fixture against Coventry on Monday and hopefully we can do my old club Bromsgrove a favour and get the win…”
