NUNEATON GRIFF'S ANTON ASTLEY WRITES ABOUT HIS TEAM'S 4-0 WIN v BROMSGROVE SPORTING...
"I don't think the game could have gone any better for us because coming into the game we knew Bromsgrove would have that added incentive to want to beat us after we beat them 1-0 a month or so back at their place.
We knew we had to be on our game and going into the match the lads never mentioned losing once and never have going into a game, which is the kind of winning mentality we have every week. We believe on our day we can be a match for anyone.
In terms of influences, it would be difficult to single out an individual performance as everyone was on their game, on what was clearly a must-win game, even tho Bax (Kyle Baxter) fully deserved his M.O.M. award, as he was class in the centre of midfield, breaking things up with Willo as usual & protecting the back four.
From back to front we were solid and it's how we've been since I joined the Griff but we have just got to keep winning games and getting three points week in week out, as we have been doing.
We must end the season on a high by winning something because I think the lads deserve it for the season we've had..."
