CHESTER FC MANAGER STEVE BURR RECALLS LEON KELLY of Coventry United...

Never stops lifting weights...

Chester manager Steve Burr recalls Leon 'Ned' Kelly as a 'smashing lad' when the striker was on loan at Nuneaton. He was 'a nuisance to defenders' and what Steve particularly liked was how Leon 'never stopped running'.

The Chester boss asked me to tell Leon that if he hadn't returned to Cambridge but stayed with Nuneaton, Steve would have got him into the Premier League...
