Mounts Bay Shadows On A Wall…

By the artist posed,
The pooch has been cleverly placed
Upon a lichen covered
Rocky outcrop slick,
And a sharp light has shone
To produce a shadow shown
Upon a vast wall beyond,
Which resembles, remarkably,
St Michael’s Mount…
The beach boulders have traced,
And shadowed puffy clouds
But somehow, imperceptibly,
The dog’s ears have been blown
Awry by Cornish winds, yet its balance has been
Assured by a carefully positioned retrieving stick…

Just looked at the picture and saw replicas, like shadow puppets upon a wall.
Made me smile…
